Special shows and areas among the exhibitors at INTERFORST 2026 will provide targeted impetus for the industry. At the special shows—organized by the trade fair and its partners—key future topics in forestry will be brought to life, background information will be conveyed in an understandable way, and new perspectives will be opened up. Special exhibition – Shapeing forests together
The INTERFORST special exhibition in Hall B6 brings the motto “Shape forests together. Utilize diversity. Secure the future.” alive. In cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry and the Bavarian State Institute of Forestry, key issues concerning the future of forests are addressed and clearly communicated here. The special show demonstrates how different stakeholders are taking joint responsibility and what options are available for making forests sustainable and diverse.

Special Exhibition "Sustainable Forestry – People at the Center"
In the outdoor exhibition area, the INTERFORST special exhibition will continue under the leadership of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG). The focus is on the theme “Sustainable Forestry – People at the Center.” The exhibition highlights safety, health, and responsible work practices in the forest — presented in a practical, hands-on format with clear relevance to everyday operations.
NEW: Start-up Area – Ideas for the future of forestry
At the Start-up Area, young companies present their visionary ideas and new solutions for forestry. Founders show how innovative technologies, digital applications, and new business models can change the forestry sector. An area for anyone who is curious about fresh ideas and wants to help shape the future of the industry.
