The forestry sector is in the midst of a generational transition. At the same time, political, societal, and economic changes are creating new challenges. Attracting and retaining qualified professionals is becoming an increasingly critical success factor. Meanwhile, perceptions of work, careers, and professional development are evolving. This presentation explores the expectations of young forestry professionals and highlights the factors that shape employer attractiveness in the forestry sector today and are likely to become even more important in the future.
