Lecture description
This demonstration impressively shows how a log is safely and efficiently transformed into finished firewood. The process begins with a Steyr tractor, a Tajfun winch, and a Forest-Master skidder capable of handling logs up to four meters long. A crane loads the wood onto a longitudinal and transverse conveyor, which feeds the Tajfun log splitter to produce finished firewood. Next, a 33-metric-ton log splitter with a crane processes meter-long pieces, which are then quickly and safely cut to size in AMR miter saws. The process concludes with a small log splitter and a rocker circular saw for smaller quantities, which are specifically designed for processing smaller amounts of wood. In addition, two modern boilers from the Hargassner and HDG brands will be on display.
